Emily Carr: The Painter of Trees - Saturday, March 1 st, 2014 10:00 am - 3:30 pm Emily Carr was fascinated with the coastal trees and the inhabitants of the most sacred places here. Using acrylics we will paint in a style that echoes the movement and brush strokes she employed. Large canvases are encouraged.( 24 X 30 or 30 X 40") - students bring their own large canvas to class.
All other materials will be provided. Beginners welcome! Bring your brave, creative spirit and leave with a large, beautiful painting at the end of the day that marks your journey. Also bring a brown bag lunch as we will paint all day!
