Art On Site began 4 years ago on the library with the intention of providing an opportunity for artists to work at there own pace, in the company of other artists and to engage in conversation with the public, who enjoy watching art in progress. An opportunity to work on artwork in a supportive environment and in a location with southwest windows. Start a new project or finish one. Some artists work on a number of pieces simaltaneously.

Artworks created in the drop in will be exhibited in the library in April. Visting artists to Nanaimo or new to Nanaimo? Please join us. This is a good way to get involved in an art activity without registration and fee obligations.
