On Site Art started in 2014 as an artist and public interchange. It is also an invitation to artists of all skill levels to meet together and make art once a week for 12 weeks in the North Nanaimo library.
This library has optimum light with south and west facing windows. Last year, the artists in the Drop In group had an exhibition of artwork in the library at the culmination of the sessions in April. And it is taking place again in the same location on Tuesday for 12 weeks again this year. But if Tuesday doesn't work for you, there is an OSA group that meets on Wednesday each week from noon to 3 pm. at the Harbourfront Branch. Artists host both groups. As always, the public may attend and watch, as well feel free to converse with artists about their work.
