The Coombs Old Time Fiddlers, Branch 11 of the BC Association, host this annual Fiddle Jamboree to showcase Canadian Old Time Music. Fiddlers and accompanying musicians from Vancouver Island and beyond gather on stage to present a full afternoon of great traditional music from the many cultures in Canada. Bring your dancing shoes.

The tunes are rooted in Metis, Celtic, Quebecois, Ottawa Valley, Maritime, Prairie and Appalachian traditions. You are guaranteed a delightful, toe-tapping time. This year's featured performers will be Nanaimo's Quinton Etheridge-Pedden, The Oceanside Jammers (for a Celtic flavour) and the duo of Deni and Faalon Johnson.

To accommodate as many as possible, the registration of open stage performers will start at 10:00 a.m. with the first group on stage at 11:00 o'clock.

The Jamming Circle will start when all the signed-up entertainers have performed and will continue as long as there are musicians still awake.

Food and dry camping will be available on the grounds and parking lot jamming is always encouraged.

There is no change in the admission charge - it remains at $5.00, no charge for performers and under 12's. Come one, come all to the finest show on the Island.
