Oil Painting: The Figures

Students will learn basic oil painting techniques with the figure as subject in this course. Elements such as paint handling, brushwork, colour, composition and creating space will be covered in addition to learning how to paint the model in various poses. Examples of contemporary artists using the figure will be presented throughout the duration of the course.
