The Whale Blitz is a series of land-based whale watching and education events at various Whale Trail locations across Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, and in Vancouver. Meet members of the community, whale-watch from land, and help collect information that is vital for the protection and recovery of these iconic species. Bring your camera and/or binoculars and prepare to watch out for whales! These events are an excellent opportunity to gain species ID skills, participate in citizen science, and learn about whale conservation.
