This year, Oaklands is going big for our Annual Neighbourhood Garage Sale and hosting the inaugural Oaklands Street Party! Garage sales begin around the neighbourhood at 9am and the Street Party kicks off at 10am.
Stay tuned for a map of the participating households! This day is completely FREE and open to everyone!
Join the Oaklands Community Association on Haultain St. between Asquith and Forbes for a jam-packed, family friendly day featuring live music, free workshops, food trucks, parklets and over 50 garage sales. Haultain businesses will be out on the street with us - come check out and support Koffi, Poppet Creative, The Local General Store, and Thrive Studio! Bring a friend and get in the spirit of the Oaklands community.
Use the hashtag, #WeAreOaklands all day long to share your experience and have a chance to win some Market Bucks for the Oaklands Sunset Market! We encourage everyone to walk ride their bike to enjoy the Street Party as parking will be limited on Haultain. The Capital Regional District Water Cart will be joining us for the day.
Be sure to bring your own water bottle and stay hydrated!
