Caroline Adderson is a highly versatile and prolific writer, with a body of work that ranges from the traditional to the experimental, and includes titles for both adults and young readers. She is the author of four acclaimed novels (A History of Forgetting, Sitting Practice, The Sky Is Falling, Ellen in Pieces), two collections of short stories, and 15 books for younger readers. Adderson’s work has received numerous award nominations, including the Sunday Times EFG Private Bank Short Story Award, the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, and the Governor General’s Literary Award. She was the recipient of the 2006 Marian Engel Award for mid-career achievement. A highly accomplished writer and speaker, she will share some of her recent work and talk about how she plots her novels.
