This is a great event where new homelearning families can pick the brains of veteran homelearning families, kids can connect with their friends, make new ones, and no matter the program or the approach that your family takes, it is a time to just enjoy the freedom that we have in our nation to choose this option for our families.

WHEN: Tuesday, September 4 from 10:30am to whenever we feel like leaving!

WHO: homelearning families, those interested in homeschooling…

WHY: to connect in our similarities, learn from our differences & just to HAVE FUN!

WHAT: play and visit (we will have giveaways, photo booth, BBQ lunch by donation, face painting, balloon animals, temporary tattoos, sidewalk chalk, bubbles!)

WHERE: Bowen Park – upper playground (the one nearest to the outdoor pool)

HOW: bring yourselves, chairs, blankets, lawn games, any learning items that you’d like to pass on to another family (we will have a free table set up), a snack to share (we will have a table set up), a picnic for your family if you want to stay through lunch!

If you have an older child who would be willing to help out - there will be temporary tattoos, face painting, etc. so there are opportunities for them to volunteer!
