Welcome to North of the Oyster North of the oyster is Vancouver Islands newest and most intriguing Private Membership only Events.

Presented by comox valleys own Project Intent and in association with Cumberland Village Works, Little Island Productions. North of the Oyster is a series of events held between May 8-16 just north of the oyster river on an exciting new location known as “abundance”. Bands, djs, composers and musical styles that range from dirty blues, neofolk to cutting edge live electronic music. Live art, video mapping, circus arts, and dance performances in between every act.

All under Vancouver Island own BIG TOP circus tent.

As well as we are accepting email transfers to [email protected] Project Intent is completing the final steps in our wacky mission to bring a real Italian circus tent to Vancouver Island. This will be the first time we have set it up since Atmosphere Gathering we are very excited to get our baby back in action and we hope you are as well! These events are on secure private property and are PRIVATE functions.Camping is an option.

Last summer Project Intent invested over 50 000 and through Project Intents crowd funding site the puublic helped to raised an additional 23000. Over 6 months later we now have a trailer, repairs are being done and we need to set this baby up without a 5th generation tent master yelling at us. We have found an amazing location just north of the oyster river, and are setting up a private ticketed concert style series of events celebrating the fact that our projects is well under way.

Each night is unique in its own way and will showcase a massive variety of not only world class talent but local amazingness as well. Your excitement fuels this event... please share it, post about it, and get your friends and family on board. This concert series will be testament to whether the north island can sustain such a large venue.
