Now is your opportunity to come check out the Young Professionals of Nanaimo Community Garden Project. We are creating two Community Gardens in Nanaimo to help raise awareness for eating fresh, local produce. Excess produce production will get donated to local food banks and given to our gardening volunteers.

There has been lots of activity on the North end site, 15 cedar beds now await planting and a long tire wall separates the parking from the gardening area.

June 2nd we'll be opening our doors to the community and inviting anyone interested to come see the progress being made. We'll have a BBQ going and planter-painting for the kids.

We're asking if you have a favourite hearty perennial, please bring it as a donation to help to make the site come alive!
