Intimate lunch time concert of delightful duets by Mozart, Rameau, C.P.E. Bach and Telemann, played on wooden flute and baroque violin by two world-class early music specialists.

Soile Stratkauskas and Karin Björk both studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Since then both have established themselves as early music specialists, performing with leading baroque ensembles in the UK, including the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and the Gabrieli Consort and Players, amongst others. Since moving to Victoria in 2010, Soile has frequently appeared in concert with the Pacific Baroque Orchestra, the Early Music Society of the Islands, and the Pacific Baroque Festival, and she is the founder and Artistic Director of the Victoria Baroque Players, and is passionate about creating opportunities for music making in the Victoria community. This lunch time concert is a happy reunion of the two kindred musical spirits!
