A 17 piece jazz dynamo, the NMA big band has been a stalwart of Vancouver Island's jazz scene for the past 50 years. This top-notch band has featured and mentored some outstanding Canadian jazz musicians over the decades including artists such as Diana Krall, Ingrid and Christine Jensen and multi award winner, Phil Dwyer. This concert will be a cumulative celebration that features a little of all that jazz has to offer - tunes old and new, funk and blue! Bryan Stovell will be at the helm of this ship and Sydney Needham is our featured vocalist.
