Nick La Riviere's Trombone Mayhem! at Hermann's Jazz Club

Join wild trombonists Nick La Riviere and Jeff Agopsowicz as they host a night of exciting and upbeat music. Featuring pianist Karel Roessingh, bassist Sean Drabitt, and drummer Damian Graham, the night begins with a set of energetic jazz. Original music as well as jazz standards are vigorously performed. The band even takes on the Buddy Rich Big Band's 'West Side Story Suite', managing to perform the big band arrangement with a 5 piece band.
For the second set the band is joined by Duncan Meiklejohn, the fog machine and disco light turn on, and Hermann's turns in to a groovy 70's dance club. Featuring music by Kool & the Gang, KC & the Sunshine Band, Sly & the Family Stone, Earth Wind & Fire, dancing is encouraged and a funky good time is had by all.
