This event is a fundraiser for the 'Roger Colwill Fund for the Environment' which supports sustainable, community enhancing events and initiatives as well as the Robert Bateman Art and Environmental Education Center (a platinum LEED galley and enviromental Ed building), soon to be coming to Royal Roads University.
It will include live local music, featuring PARTY BAND, local artisans and gardeners, beers and burgers, silent auction, 15 min 'mini-green conferences' hosted by local green businesses with do it yourself tips on topics like energy conservation and sustainable landscaping, fun games and activities suitable for kids and adults- (facepainting, collaborative art station) some of which will be run by Vic High volunteers!
Also- July's 'Green Drinks' is making a move from their new location at the Oswego Hotel in James Bay to celebrate with us at Neighbours For Change on Sunday July 18th!
Last year we had 400 ppl through and raised $6000 and so this year we are excited to surpass that!
