The Nanaimo Canoe & Kayak Club is hosting a series of Open Houses and Early Registration Days at the start of April to promote the sport of canoe-kayak and introduce people in our community to the benefits of paddlesports. These free events will take place at Loudon Park, Long Lake and are open to the public and Club members.

Participants have the opportunity to paddle a variety of canoes & kayaks, learn more about the sport, further inquire about the Club, and receive 10% off any registration made for an upcoming learn to paddle program, member paddling program (Jr Dev't Team or High Performance Training), or youth summer camp.

Adult and youth programming are available at both Long Lake and Brechin Paddling Dock locations. We are currently recruiting new paddlers for the upcoming 2012 BC Summer Games in Surrey, 2013 Canada Summer Games in Que, and 2014 BC Summer Games in Nanaimo.
