We invite families, individuals, businesses, and service groups to participate in our Telethon broadcast by making a donation live at the Port Theatre and doing a brief interview on air if desired, or call in your donation during the show from the comfort of your own home. 250-591-KIDS (5437)

All donations are tax deductible. A family BBQ sponsored by the Kinsmen will be held outside the Theatre, along with Balloon Artist - Crazy Chris bringing extra fun to this great day! Come on down to Port Theatre and enjoy the free show!

Performance lineup includes: The Kerplunks (you need tickets for this part of the show), The Nanaimo Concert Band, Tidesmen Chorus, The Moonshine Molly's, Ian Perry, Vesna Ukrainian Dancers, Ramona the Bellydancer, Wellington Jazz Academy, Vibrant Dance Hip Hop, Marty Steele and many more!

The Nanaimo Child Development Centre provides 1,900 services annually to children and their families and we presently have 345 children on our wait list - waiting up to 12 months for some services (particularly occupational therapy & speech therapy).

All funds raised at this event will go towards the much needed programs and services provided at the Centre. Individual Donors of $20 or more will receive one entry for the “Donor Prize Giveaways”- (Donations made between 12PM – 7:45 PM qualify for entry).
