Nature Explorers Spring Break Camp

Description: Explore nature with Nanaimo Science!
This outdoor-based March Break camp will have students enjoying the wonders of late winter around Westwood Lake. Daily easy hikes will be paired with nature interpretation, science activities and natural crafts.
Students will also have access to an indoor space (the View Room at the Bethlehem Centre) for warm ups/bathroom access, as well as a backup space in case weather is adverse.
Price: $300.00/week Taxes waived
Required age: 6 - 12 on the day of the activity
Dates and Time: Runs daily from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM from Monday March 15 - Friday March 19 2021 and from Monday March 22 - Friday March 26 2021
Notes: Families must provide their own snacks and lunches.
COVID-19 Safety Measures will be in place (including mask-wearing while indoors). Requirements: As this is a primarily outdoor camp, students must come dressed appropriately for outdoor activities. Students will also need to bring their snack/lunch in a backpack while exploring/hiking.
Families should pack spare mittens, winter hat, socks, indoor shoes, and a change of clothes (these can remain on site) for their children.
