NATURAL HISTORY NIGHT– In the deep past lie the answers to who we are and where we came from. Thirty-five thousand years ago, our ancestors created striking works of art on cave walls that reveal inquisitive minds in close observation of a world of natural abundance, a northern Serengeti of megafauna now lost to extinction. Writer Sid Tafler will share insights and images of this legacy of a long-lost world, when Ice Age hunters depicted these animals deep inside the darkest places on earth, often with stunning life-like realism achieved through advanced craft and technique.
