National November Novel Writing Month Kickoff 2013

The local NaNoWriMo Meet Up group was in jeopardy of disappearing so it was salvaged at the eleventh hour and right now we are rallying the troops so to speak by having morning/afternoon and evening meet ups to get and keep up the momentum for the upcoming 30 Days of Writing with Abandon worldwide event.
The concept of writing a novel in 30 days started in 1999 and all you have to do is pen a first draft tome of at least 50,000 word by November 30th starting on November 1rst.
To kick off the Nanaimo event we will be setting up our laptops at the Brooks Landing Tim Hortons in the wee hours of November 1rst for the official 12:01 start!
