Join us on June 21, 2019 4pm – 8pm for our Annual National Indigenous Peoples Day (NIPD) Celebration. Admission is FREE and there is something for everyone!
For many years, the Comox Valley has come together at the main village site of the K’ómoks First Nation to celebrate the vibrant, diverse, and timeless cultures of the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples of Canada.
Everyone welcome! Take part in events and activities for the whole family. Take in the powerful dance performances, browse indigenous arts & crafts, indulge in tasty traditional foods, experience hands-on workshops and info booths, traditional activities, a Family Zone and much more
. K’omoks Cultural Group and Kumugwe Dance Group will be doing a cultural performance at 7PM. Entrance by donation, but no one turned away.
