NANOOSE WATERCOLOUR GROUP ART SHOW. April is here and Spring is on the way. This is the time of year when the members of the Nanoose Watercolour Group are gearing up for their Annual Spring Art Show and Sale. This will mark their 20th Spring Art Show and the members will be displaying their current work created in their studios, as a group, or on field trips throughout the summer months in Qualicum, Parksville, Nanoose and the surrounding countryside. Each year, in addition to their regular paintings, the group chooses a subject for their 2nd gallery, and the special event this year will be a display of 'Collage' work, creating some very unusual pieces.

Since the Community has been very supportive of the group over the years, the artists felt that part of the show should be a fund raiser for those in the community less fortunate than themselves. To this end, each artist has painted a small canvas, each canvas will be sold for $35, and all proceeds from these works will go to the local Nanoose Food Bank. Entrance to the show is free and an invitation is extended to all. Artists will be in attendance, so bring your friends and neighbours and join us for refreshments while viewing the 100 or more paintings on display.
