Nanoose Garden Club, together with Eaglecrest Garden Club and Qualicum Beach Garden Club, will host: AVOIDING SUMMER DOLDRUMS - GREAT PLANTS for SUMMER and FALL with GARY LEWIS of Phoenix Perennials, Richmond.
 
Does your garden look fabulous in the spring only to have its vibrant colours fade with the summer heat?
 
Gary Lewis offers advice on how to avoid the summer doldrums and recommends a host of great garden plants to keep colour in the garden through the hot months of the year.  At the end, Gary will “show and tell” a select group of plants from the talk.
 
Gary is a fun and dynamic speaker who is passionate about plants and gardening.
 
For all current members of the three garden clubs involved the event will be free.  We will only charge guests of our members and other drop-ins
