Saturday, August 7th, 2021
11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

The NanGo Grannies are holding a pop-up craft, baking and fabric sale featuring their hand made fabric crafts (aprons, kitchen accessories, travel bags),gourmet cookies and jams, and a large selection of quilting and specialty fabric for sale, which they normally offer at their annual giant fabric sale, which has not been held for the last two years. There will something for everyone!

All proceeds go to the Stephen Lewis Foundation. The NanGo Grannies have been supporting grandmothers in Africa through the Stephen Lewis Foundation since 2006, and have raised over $100,000 for the Foundation's work with African grandmothers and their grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 precautions, admission will be controlled, and it is strongly recommended that shoppers wear masks and practice distancing. A reminder to bring your own reusable bags for your purchases, since the City of Nanaimo no longer allows single use plastic bags.

Gogo is the Zulu word for grandmother. NanGo is the name for our Nanaimo grandmothers (and grand-others) group. We appreciate your support!
