he 2013-2014 Cadet Training Year is drawing to a close, and with that comes our Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR.) The ACR is an opportunity for the children to demonstrate some of the knowledge and skills that they have acquired throughout their Cadet career.

This year, the ACR will also celebrate the 50th anniversary, so it is a special honour for the cadets to present alongside the Sea Cadets to mark the occasion.

Navy League Cadets is a non-profit program for children ages 9-12, while Sea Cadets range in age from 13-18.

The Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR) is the most important event of the Cadet training year. This event is an opportunity for the cadets to display what they have learned over the past training year to their families and assembled guests. It is also an opportunity for the corps to honour deserving cadets by presenting them with various awards.

The event is open to the public. Guests should arrive by 1015 hrs (10:15 am) in order to be seated by 1030 hrs (10:30 am), with the ceremony starting at 1100 hrs (11:00 am.)

The ceremony will include an inspection, march past, music and drill display as well as some awards. All events should be complete by 1400 hrs (2:00 pm).

Note that the ACR will be held outdoors, so guests should dress appropriately for the weather. (Sunscreen, hat, etc.)
