Everyone Welcome to Nanaimo Yacht Club's Easter Egg Hunt on Newcastle Island Provincial Marine Park. Thank you to Nanaimo Harbour Ferries-Children 12 & under travel free on the Newcastle Island Ferry on Easter Sunday.

Adults, join us with your own boat or take the Ferry. Adults $9.00 First Ferry leaves Maffeo Sutton Park at 9:00 am and will run continuously to Newcastle Island. Come over early, bring your camera and take a photo with our Easter Bunny.

The Royal Canadian Marine Search & Rescue, Station 27-Nanaimo will have a vessel and crew on the dock for everyone to view and to demonstrate how they help with emergency situations on the water. Coffee, Hot Chocolate and Timbits -all supplied by Nanaimo Yacht Club. We can even Roast Marshmallows around the camp fire. Children are invited to partake in our Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Noon in the fields behind the Pavilion. Bring your Easter Baskets, Bonnets or Hats, wear your walking shoes and tour the trails and beaches on beautiful Newcastle Island before or after the Easter Egg Hunt at Noon.

No food services on the island-Bring a Picnic Lunch for your family.
