Parents and alumni are invited to come together to meet, share and celebrate the 50th season of the Nanaimo White Rapids Swim Club at the Parent & Alumni 50th Anniversary Social and Celebration!

Each year the Club gathers new and continuing parents of our young swimmers together for a Parent Social to connect and celebrate the upcoming season. This year, we invite Alumni - past swimmers, coaches, swim parents, and volunteers and supporters - to join todays parents, coaches and supporters at the Rugby Club House to reminisce about the Nanaimo White Rapids Swim Club's success over the decades, rejoice in its current registration of over 200 children and youths for this upcoming summer swim season, and look forward to another 50 years of great summer swimming and competition in the outdoor Bowen Park Kin Pool.

Guest speakers will include coaches and swimmers over the decades, Olympic athletes, and enthusiastic supporters of the Club over the years.

Alumni - come and find yourself in one of the many practice and swim meet photo albums maintained by the Club over the years.

Parents - come and meet other parents and volunteers and explore what a great club your child is involved with!

Tickets are $25.00 per person and include a gourmet burger buffet. A cash bar is available. Tickets can be purchased at the Bowen Park Kin Pool or at the door.
