You are invited to join us for the Seniors Connect Expo; the kickoff event to Seniors Celebrate Month in Nanaimo. The event will focus on celebrating all the wonderful ways in which older adults contribute to the fabric of our community. Learn about the many activities and program that have evolved out of the Seniors Connect project and see documentaries, meet action committees or get involved!

There are over 35 tables of community participants who will be providing information on ways for older adults to stay socially connected and get help and support when needed. Come to make new friends or maybe find a new leadership opportunity. There will be cake, door prizes, music and more. Drive a senior and receive an extra draw ticket for door prizes. Take part in an art demonstration class at 11am, watch the Community Champion Awards Presentation at 1pm or join us for a cake at 2pm to celebrate National Seniors Day. If you are new to Nanaimo you will have an opportunity to learn about numerous fun social activities, physical health and wellness programs and sign up for exciting activities.
