Our gatherings are free, open to the public, and drop-ins are welcome. We discuss scripts and screenwriting in general, the screenwriting projects of our members, share news and upcoming events. The live group discussion provides valuable insight into all aspects of the screenwriting experience.

We start our meetings by discussing anything of note to do with the scriptwriting world locally, and announce any member events, presentations, filmings or viewings. Then we get into the meat of the meetings: the workshopping. Any writer is welcome to share their script (just email us beforehand to let us know, and to make sure we have enough time). We ask for a digital copy to send to our members, and to bring 5-10 copies of your script with you to the meeting. We'll do a table read (maximum 10 pages), and then open the floor up to commentary, support and advice. Once our meetings adjourn, a lot of folks usually stick around to network and exchange contacts, and we encourage non-scriptwriters but filmmakers, producers, writers, actors, and any other folks interested or connected to the scriptwriting world to attend.

Some of our meetings may contain adult-themes or language embedded without our scripts, so please do check with us first if you're under 19 and want to attend.
