A Roundtable Leader will guide HR practitioners through a discussion on specific topics related to the field of Human Resources. This allows for sharing of knowledge, strategies, lessons-learned, and practical tips, tools, and techniques. Participants are encouraged to actively engage in the discussion, ask questions, and provide real scenarios. A variety of formats will be used depending on the topic and the facilitator (i.e. group discussions, case studies etc.).

Roundtable Leader: Catherine (Cathy) Power, CHRP of Power Consulting enjoyed a 30+ year career in the Telecommunications Industry including Public Relations, HR, Management, Coaching, Leadership, Team Building, Training, Facilitating and Public Speaking prior to starting her own consulting firm. She is a founding President of a Toastmasters Club and holds a CTM (Competent Toastmaster) rating, is Past President of the Nanaimo Oceanside Rotary Club and served on the Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 7 years. She is known for her entertaining and humorous approach to training.
