The Annual Christmas Pottery Show & Sale is one of the Pottery Co-op’s most popular events showcasing a selection of beautifully hand-crafted pottery created by the artisans of our Central Vancouver Island region.

The potters have been busy transforming ‘malleable mud’ into stunning ceramic pieces!

You will find beautiful pottery, both functional and decorative, with unique shapes, stunning glazes, and surprising surface textures. The potters are creating wine goblets, mugs, platters & plates, bowls, casseroles, teapots, piggy banks, flower vases, sculpture, mobiles, garden art, planters, and much more. You will see ceramics that reflect a wide range of different clays, hand and wheel thrown building techniques, and firing strategies that reflect the potter’s individual style and sensibilities.

Are you a fan of raku, tozan wood fired pottery, sgraffito, mishima, and porcelain ceramics? Then you’re really going to like this show!

Come see what your favourite long-time potters have been creating and meet new potters who are bringing their ideas and uniques styles to our co-operative. We’d love to show you our work and talk about pottery so come with your comments and questions and have a look around on Nov. 1, 2 & 3.
