Learn about Bivalves, Univalves and all the other creatures that make their home in the intertidal zone! With biologist and nature mentor Charlotte Haley from the Pacific Biological Station we will learn all about this interesting habitat. See how many creatures you can find on our "Scavenger Hunt" Checklist. This date and time has been chosen because of the excellent low tide, so there should be lots to see.
Please be ready for some wading in rocky areas, and bring your magnifying glass so you can do 'up close' investigating. We will meet at the Neck Point parking lot.
