The Nanaimo Kennel Club is hosting it's annual dog show and obedience trials. These are fun filled days for your family to come and watch a dog show surrounded by hundreds of different types of purebred dogs from wee Yorkshires Terriers and Chihuahuas to Newfoundlands and Great Danes and everything in between, all competing for their championship and national points. Watch Junior Handlers showcase their dogs. Visit with breeders and professional dog handlers in the grooming barn, watch some of the amazing grooming that goes on to get a dog ready for the show ring, talk about the breeds and do some researcvh for yourself in case you are looking to add a dog to your family. There will be vendors for purchase of all types of dog related products. Spend some time in our education event tent where NKC members will explain what is going on in the rings and how the judging is going. Concession on site, admission is free. Due to Canadian Kennel Club rules, you cannot bring your dogs with you, as dogs not entered into the competition are not allowed on the site.
