Nanaimo Horticultural Society features Jeff de Jong, horticulturalist from Victoria whose topic is "Sizzling Hot Gardens" There's no reason to wonder where all the color has gone once mid summer rolls along. If your garden seems to be fading during the summer months then its time to make some additions.
Jeff de Jong will explore the plants that can provide the summer garden with an explosion of color and interest. This is a talk where the novice or experienced garden can take home some wonderful ideas of how to add a sizzle to your garden with color and texture.
Jeff de Jong, Horticulturalist from Victoria who teaches numerous horticulture program and lectures for many organizations and universities in North America and hosts Gardening 101 radio program on C-FAX 1070 every Sunday from 10 to 12 noon.
