The Nanaimo Historical Society encourages everyone to attend this special presentation of historic local images dating from the 1850s to the 1960s.
Inspired by the Facebook site "You Know You're From Nanaimo When..." tonight's presenters will display and discuss selected images from our/your past.
Perhaps the audience may recognize and recall local people, places, and things captured on film long ago, and be inspired to share any memories and anecdotes these images may evoke.

The Nanaimo Historical Society is a non-profit organization. Founded in 1953, the Society's mission is to preserve, promote, and celebrate the history of Nanaimo and central Vancouver Island. Annual membership is $24 for and individual, $30 for a family, and $34 for an organization.
Membership includes a subscription to British Columbia History, the quarterly journal of the British Columbia Historical Foundation.
