International and local theatre companies will be showcasing their new scripts, comedies and edgy material on our stages.
Watch for events by performers from Nanaimo in Busted, a mashup of drag performance and theatre; The Wideness and Wonder of Georgia O'Keeffe, a celebration of the magic and wonder of Georgia O'Keeffe and Noir-ish a wannabe actor, wrapped up in a mystery. Keats: A One Man Play by another local artist from Qualicum Beach who relives the tragic and inspiring moments of life of the poet John Keats. Lucid Dramatics brings their quirky solo show: Murder Blood Bear Story from Los Angeles.
Two comedies: Belle Paris and Legends of Canada both come to the festival from Calgary; and travelling to us all the way from Australia is Trent Baumann's 5 star I Forgot to Fly Today.
