Live Theatre returns to Nanaimo, with the 12th annual Nanaimo Fringe Festival – featuring 11 original shows, a beer garden, karaoke, silent disco, and stilt walkers across 4 festival venues:

Gallery Row Outdoor Stage, Nanaimo’s Old City Quarter

Local and national touring companies will be showcasing new productions of musicals, comedies, plays, and more. Watch out for 5 local Nanaimo acts and a Lantzville-based theatre company, alongside artists from Victoria, Vancouver, Toronto, Winnipeg, San Francisco and Washington, DC.

Festival goers require a yellow Nanaimo Fringe Festival Button and a ticket or pass to see a Fringe show. The $5 Buttons are available at the door and are valid all festival long. Individual tickets cost $12* or purchase a Festival Pass to get into 5 shows for only $50*. Both ticketing options can be purchased at the door, in advance through the Port Theatre box office, or online at http://tickets.porttheatre.com

100% of all box office sales go directly to the artists.

Pacific Coast Stage Co. has been dedicated to nurturing Nanaimo’s emerging and established artists for over a decade, connecting them with the rich community of touring acts on the thriving Canadian Fringe circuit.
