The Nanaimo Free Learners is a group committed to creating a democratic and child-led education option in Nanaimo. We are passionate about alternative education and children's rights in education and believe that the compulsory education model is outdated, ineffective, and unethical. We have big ideas about what to do with this problem, and we want to talk to you about them!
If you are interested in alternative education, life learning, unschooling, children's rights, or just want to be a part of the solution, we'd love to see you there!
