Dave Bodaly, from the unceded Snuneymuxw territory (Nanaimo, BC) shares his story with us in person.
Dave is a Snuneymuxw Elder, Knowledge Keeper, photographer, artist, weaver and genealogist. He traces his ancestry back to those who created carvings in what is now known as Petroglyph Provincial Park, Nanaimo and the Bodalys of Northamptonshire, England.
All monthly meetings are available to our members via Zoom. Our September meeting is also Hybrid meaning we can gather in person at Beban Park Social Centre, 2300 Bowen Rd, Nanaimo or view the speaker remotely on Zoom. The doors open by 6:30 pm with the Zoom session starting by 6:45. Note monthly meetings are free to members.
