This is a group of Nanaimo people who like creating art and crafts from our lovely Vancouver Island driftwood. We get together to work on projects, socialize and share techniques and tips . Anyone from Nanaimo area who is interested can join - we don't "judge" anyone's art.
We meet at Maffeo Sutton Park near the Frank Ney statue - weather permitting. Bring a lawn chair and if you have a piece to work on, sand or show along with some tools to work on the pieces, bring it along. No power tools since we are in a public park. See you then!
