Nanaimo's original farmers' market opens its 20th season with a grand celebration.
Ribbon cutting ceremony, gift draws of items donated by vendors and supporting downtown merchants, mini cupcakes while the supply lasts, A Find the Market Mascot and farm animal scavenger hunt for children ages 2-12, music by Flashback Freddy.
Come down, have fun on site and take home a bag of local foods and products to enjoy throughout the week.
