The Nanaimo Concert Band (a non-profit group) is having their annual Spring Concert at the Port Theatre in Sunday afternoon April 13 at 2:30 pm. Even though this group is one of the best concert band's in Canada, winning gold in the toughest category in the National Band Festival Competition, the tickets are only $13.50, making it accessible to everyone in Nanaimo to hear this great concert. You won't find a nicer way to spend an April Sunday afternoon listening to the band perform some impressive and well liked pieces. If you have not heard the band before this is a perfect concert to do so!
