The Nanaimo Concert Band is getting ready to perform their Annual Fall Concert and it is coming up quickly!!!! Once again the band is putting on a great concert. They have been hard at work on a very entertaining repertoire and will be showcasing their talents on some very challenging pieces for your enjoyment. All the favourites in one concert!!! This national award winning band performs a wide ranging musical repertoire including classical, big band, marches show tune and more! It’s hard to believe that this band has been doing this for 144 years. It is the oldest continuously performing concert band in Canada.
Nanaimo Concert Band is a non-profit organization which stays in operation by performing at the Port Theatre. By purchasing a ticket to their concert, you will be helping the band stay alive and you get a great afternoon of musical entertainment.
