Heatlhcare in Canada is a complex issue. Canada ranks high in providing Healthcare to its citizens among the developed nations of the world. The Healthcare system deserves to be a source of pride for Canadians. As with any system though, there is room for improvement. There are consistent Funding Shortfalls, long wait times for Specialists and Surgeries, severe shortage of Primary Care physicians, the system is focused on Acute and Chronic care. Some potential solutions are the adoption of 2 Tier Healthcare, increase in Nurse Practitioners, the introduction of Naturopathic MD's as Primary Care Physicians, a shift of the systems's focus to Preventative care. Here is an opportunity to discuss Healthcare in Canada, examine problems and contemplate solutions. 

The NCTT is an opportunity for thoughtful people to discuss complex social issues with other thoughtful people in a comfortable, structured format. Once joined, members can submit an Issue they are interested in discussing for the consideration of other members, and the membership selects the Issue to be discussed in the upcoming session.
