Nanaimo Chess Club is FREE and welcomes players of all ages and abilities. Don't be shy. The Wednesday weekly Chess games begin every hour at 5, 6, 7 and 8. Arrive when you can. There are plenty of mentors and coaches available.

Please bring your inexpensive chess set. Your brain will be invigorated by this quiet challenge. Chess is a great cure for anxiety and loneliness.

Out of respect for the generous owners of this restaurant, please purchase at least a coffee and dessert or meal to show Chess Club's appreciation for hosting and allowing us to use their tables and space.

Masks are still recommened.

We are excited to welcome new players. There is no need to phone or register, just arrive with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and your good Chess sportsmanship.
