Mappings
We’ll start this Saturday Studio by looking at Nanaimo’s Number One Mine map in 'Black Diamond Dust' at the Downtown Gallery. Then back at Art Lab we’ll use line and shape to create our own personal maps! We will experiment with staining and distressing the maps for an aged, antique look.
Unique art classes and activities for children ages 5-11
10:30am until noon on select Saturdays at Nanaimo Art Gallery’s Art Lab!

If you have a LEAP card your child may be eligible for a bursary! Two LEAP spots are available each week; one per family. Each family is welcome to use up to 2 LEAP spots per month.
Maximum program enrolment is 16 students. All phone reservations must be paid prior to 5 pm the Friday before Saturday Studio. Walk-in payments are accepted until 10:15am Saturday if there is still space.
