Nanaimo Art Gallery presents Saturday Studio (formerly ArtRageous) in our new art education space Art Lab.
Saturday, May 17
Blue Water (Part one)
This special art class is held in conjunction with RBC Royal Banks Blue Water Week
Join one or both Blue Water art classes and have your artwork featured in RBCs downtown branch in June, right in the heart of Nanaimos Arts District!
Drawing inspiration from the work of BC artist Gu Xiong, create a mixed media vessel for traveling along waters like the Straight of Georgia or the Nanaimo River, and learn about water conservation strategies, and run-off and development impacts to the Nanaimo River. Gu Xiong: Waterscapes was exhibited at NanaimoArtGallerys campus location in 2012 to wide critical acclaim.
