Two Saturdays October 20 and 27: 10am � 4pm

In this 2 day workshop we will focus on all the techniques you need to begin painting with watercolour. We will start by discussing the supplies and tools you need to get started. Then you will learn all about washes: learn how to apply a flat dry wash, a wet wash, a graded wash, a streaked wash and a textured wash. We will then move on to glazes and colour mixing, and you will discover which colours on a watercolour palette allow you to create transparent glazes. You will then learn tips for painting water, skies and landscapes as you work on a variety of small watercolour paintings. This fun workshop will provide students with the essential skills of watercolour painting.

$160 plus HST: all supplies included.
