This camp is all about inspiring a passion for art and imagination! Young artists will be guided through a variety of cool collage, drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture projects while learning about contemporary artists like Connie Watts, whose solo exhibition will be at the Campus Gallery throughout the summer. Nanaimo Art Gallery�s BMO Summer Art Camps are led by professional regional artists and are a fantastic way to inspire young artists to explore and experiment!

Using a wide variety of artistic mediums and approaches, this camp will introduce young artists to new ideas and creative explorations. Drawing inspiration from the Campus Gallery� exhibition of internationally renowned artist, Connie Watts, get inspired by symbolism, imagery and storytelling used in contemporary Northwest Coast art and design and beyond!

This week will feature art projects and activities connected to the Campus Gallery�s exhibition of work by internationally renowned artist, Connie Watts, and explorations of contemporary Northwest Coast art and design and beyond. Nanaimo Art Gallery�s BMO Summer Art Camps are led by regional artists and are a fantastic opportunity to inspire teen artists to take their art to the next level!
