Introduction to Traditional Coast Salish Cedar Weaving (Registration code: 132455) Saturday November 22 from 12:00 - 4:00pm This workshop will take you step-by-step through the process and art of cedar weaving. Violet Elliott is well known for her weaving workshops, where she shares; methods of collecting and preparing cedar for weaving, traditional spiritual teachings associated with readying oneself for weaving, and the craft of weaving itself. In this introductory workshop, you will create a finished piece to take home and use as a placemat or display/hang as an art object!
